Welcome to Koff Chiropractic Clinic

Dr. Louis KoffHello! Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Doctor Louis I. Koff. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. Chiropractic is the world's largest natural healing art. I have been making people healthy since 1976 when I began my practice in Manassas, Virginia.

I went to Chiropractic School at Palmer which is the fountainhead of Chiropractic. Chiropractic began with D.D. Palmer in 1895. That's why I chose Palmer, it's the best!

While attending Palmer, I was awarded the Kingo Koil Scholarship and many other outstanding awards in diagnosis, x-ray, and clinic. I was a member of the Pi Tau Delta Honor Society, an international honor society, and graduated class Salutatorian. Palmer College of Chiropractic offered me a job to teach there but I wanted to make people well. So, in 1976, my wife, JoAnn and I moved to Manassas.

Since then, I have been an active member in the American Chiropractic Association, the Virginia Chiropractic Association. Due to the fact that I have a keen interest in sports medicine, I am a member in the American Chiropractic Association's Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness.

I just completed a three year course in Chiropractic Orthopedics which further enables me to and diagnose orthopedic problems.

I am a Panel Physician for Workman's Compensation in Prince William Country.

For over 31 years, I have treated newborns to senior citizens. I have worked with professional and amateur athletes, as well as Olympic hopefuls. I have treated thousands of people in Northern Virginia and surrounding states.

I incorporate various chiropractic techniques along with exercise and nutrition to attain your optimal health. I always utilize safe, gentle corrective care of your spinal problems.

Meet Your New Doctor - Dr Tara Koff

Dr. Tara KoffHi, I am Dr. Tara B. Koff. Thank you, in advance, for allowing me this opportunity to introduce myself.

In high school, I achieved: Scholastic All-American for three years, NISCA All-American, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, US Army Scholar Athlete, American Academy of Achievement, four National Swimming Times, and placed second in the US Swimming for 17-18 girls 400 IM Relay. I was recruited by numerous colleges and selected Columbia University.

After my sophomore year at Columbia, I transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2004, I graduated a semester early, with honors, a BA in Psychology, and a Pre-Med degree. I worked at the Center for Developmental Science, tutored calculus, and became a huge UNC basketball fan!

In 2005, I began Palmer College of Chiropractic. I achieved Dean’s list 11 of the 13 quarters and was awarded President’s List. I was a Teaching Assistant in a Physical Assessment class, worked in the Anatomy Lab and was a calculus tutor.

At Palmer Clinic, forty-four percent of my patients were top athletes who competed regularly in marathons and triathlons. Half of my patients were referral-based so I was able to successfully complete my clinic adjusting requirements two and a half quarters early.

I was the only person in my graduating class to be a Clinical Teaching Assistant in 11th quarter and the only student to be a selected as a Supervising Clinical Teaching Assistant 12th quarter. My final quarter, I interned at Koff Chiropractic Clinic. At graduation, I was one of four students in my class honored for Clinical Excellence, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

At Palmer, I was a member of Galloway Running Group and completed a: 5K, 15K and Disney’s Half-Marathon. I, also, competed in two relay triathlons, swam on the YMCA’s Masters Team and competed in the Chiropractic Olympics in swimming.

I passed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and am eligible for certification in Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, which is a series of seminars on musculoskeletal injuries in the extremities. In March, I took Active Release Technique, which is the premier treatment for soft tissue and sports injuries, and am now certified as an Active Release Technique provider. I am also a member of Virginia Chiropractic Association.

Like my Father, I utilize low-force Chiropractic techniques to correct spinal misalignments as well as therapy, soft-tissue techniques and therapeutic exercises.

Thanks! Good Health and Happiness!
